A drama following a diverse group of lawyers handling high-profile cases in Federal Court.
This legal drama takes place in and around the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Known as The Mother Court, it is home to some of the most high-profile cases in the country.
Here, a group of talented young lawyers working on opposite sides of the law spend their days tackling these high-stakes federal cases. Public defenders face off against prosecutors working for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office, with both sides going in front of Judge Nicholas Byrne, who rules on these controversial cases.
These young lawyers are put to the test on a daily basis, both personally and professionally, as their lives intersect while working at America's most prestigious trial court.

How does this show get cancelled?? It’s well written, great characters, cast well chosen. It’s modern, sharp and jus plain old good. Give it a chance.

Initially loved this show but within several episodes it became comically biased against anything or anyone conservative....between the immigration episode that made ICE the enemy of justice and tonight's election fraud topic make this cancelation well received by many who are tired of the biased liberal rhetoric....

Again the bean counters, who have NO creative juices in their bodies, have canceled a well written, well cast late night show. Every time I give ABC a chance, they show me why people are leaving the network shows in massive crowds. If someone isn't having sex with someone or killing someone or blowing things up, they cancel it. Pandering to the lowest common needs where if you are not the 18 to 35 male, you dont't count when it comes to programming.

ABC has the patience of a gnat. none of these shows are given any time to develop an audience. Throw it on, advertise it like crazy give it half a season and then shoot it. And they wonder why people are pulling the plug on cable

ABC is totally blowing it. Whiskey cavalier, and for the people. At least they will have cheap prices for advertising because no one will be watching. Most of all me!
