A drama following lawyers at an elite Memphis firm specializing in civil rights cases.
Sydney Strait is a brilliant Memphis lawyer who left her father's famous firm due to their tumultuous relationship.
But after years of barely speaking to each other, Sydney is thrust back into the family fold when her mother suddenly dies.
When her father then asks Sydney to rejoin his firm, she puts aside her lingering resentment and distrust so that she can work at the firm she knows can affect real change.

I hate to see this show canceled, I hope another network is smart enough to pick it up.

I was just looking to see when this was coming back on only to see it was canceled. I wish the network would have given this show a chance.

Just reading the TV Guide for the week starting January 6, 2020.The top 50 shows were listed. Bluff City Law was on there. How can they cancel a show that is in the top 50. Does not make sense.

I don't understand why Networks as well as other TV stations find the need to put good shows on the air and then cancel them. This is REALLY PISSING me off! Come on NetFlix, pick this show up, PLEASE!

I was about to take this off my DVR recording schedule. Bad acting, Bad direction, Bad writing.

So, the show is canceled, and yet they end it on a (sort of a) cliffhanger anyway?? I am so tired of these STUPID me-too, who-shot-JR cliffhangers. If the show is half decent and is being renewed, we'll be back; we don't need a silly gimmick to get us to return. And it's even more stupid when the show is canceled! What is it with you network airheads?

I really hope that Netflix picks up this show. It is so good.

I come here every week after watching another amazing episode of this show with the hope NBC will bring it back.
How can anyone not see the value in keeping such a great show with great stories, actor, and characters in the air?
I don’t get vocal for the many poor or average shows that are cancelled but losing something this good is just a travesty.
