A British thriller following a teenager who is recruited to work as a spy for MI6.
Alex Rider is a typical teenager whose world is turned upside down when he learns that his uncle was killed in the line of duty as a British spy.
He is soon enlisted to work for a subdivision of MI6 known as The Department, who reveals to him that he has been secretly trained since childhood for the dangerous world of espionage.
Based on the novel series of the same name by Anthony Horowitz.

I watched close to the first half hour (of ~45 minutes) of episode 1 season one, commercial free. Then I came back almost 2 hours later for the last 15. I didn't create an account - perhaps it would saved my place. So I had to jump ahead 30 min in, and it launched into commercials that you can't escape out of. Every few minutes after that, it launched into a set of commercials. So the last 15 minutes took a half an hour. I don't care about commercials if you can rewind and fast forward through them even though I usually take advantage of the break.
I'm done with "free tv". It's patently unacceptable (even though it's like live tv of a bygone era). I finished The Outpost on CW because it didn't start with forced commercial segments. I will never watch a series again this way. I wish nobody would.
Otherwise, the first episode was good enough to keep watching to see how it develops. Dont matter. Free TV series are unadulterated crap.

2006 movie supposedly stank. But this is ain't the movie. Maybe I'll finally watch imdb now. It's free! It's Otto! Whoever.

Based on the book series. Addictive show. Great cast. I really love the show!!
