Josh and Emily are a married couple with a five-year-old daughter who live with their two divorced best friends on the east side of Los Angeles. Their daily lives include juggling their careers, raising a child, and pursuing their dreams. But in their surreal world, they also have to deal with time-traveling snails, stripper clowns, and murderous mannequins. Their life may not be ideal, but it's close enough.
