The dragon that appeared after a century burned the village of Cassardis to the ground. Ethan confronted the dragon to protect his family, but the dragon took his heart.

Although he seemed dead, Ethan was resurrected as an 'Arisen'. Alongside Hannah, a Pawn under his command, Ethan sets out on a journey to regain his heart.

During his journey, Ethan will come face-to-face with monsters that represent the seven deadly sins, but does not yet know that for each monster he defeats, his part of his humanity will fade.
