A comedy following a teenage Persian boy entering his first year of high school.
Chad is a 14-year-old Persian boy in his first year of high school. Wanting desperately to be popular, Chad's friendships and sanity are tested as he does his best to make friends with the cool kids while enduring his mom's dating life and reconciling with his cultural identity.

When will the actress who plays Chad start dressing like herself. This won't be another show trying to make being a transvestite ok? The coomercials for the show cause me to become nauseated. I truly hope it's cancelled.

I am glad I am.not the only one who feels What the heck?" But yes I have to agree with others. Some are very ignorant..the show has nothing to so with transgender. NOTHING. HOWEVER, what is the purpose of an older woman trying to pull off playing a young boy. Hy not just get a young Persian boy to play the part. It would be much funnier. Clearly it does not work. Not even close to working. And the poor makeup job just caked on to try and make her look younger. I can see how people misunderstand for being transgender.

What in the heck is this stupid show supposed to be about? I watched ten minutes and it was so painful, I rather get hit in the shins with a bat. Is that a boy or a transgender or what? Kind of looks like a weird looking older woman with a bad make up job. Nothing funny, just pitiful.

I knew from the commercial that Chad is female. I'm sick of trans sh!t being shoved down everyone's throat.Won't be watching, just like Samantha bee change the channel

Just watched an episode, and these reviewers got it all wrong! Was truly hilarious! Nasim deserves a lot of credit for the show and creating this character.

I thought trailers were supposed to represent the funnier bits of a show. It doesnt hold much promise as a comedy, more like a gdamned Greek tragedy. Why not just find a young male Persian actor to actually play the part of a young male Persian character? Creative comedy writing is dead, has been for several yrs thx to political correctness and WOKE (Sleepy) culture

Whoever would like this show needs help. Just absolutely ignorant looking show. I cringe every time the stupid commercial comes on for it, and I can’t change the channel fast enough . TBS you need to fire whoever thought this would be good entertainment. ✌️

Who ever thought this would be a good show needs to have their head examined. There is nothing funny or entertaining about this show. Any why would it be a good ideas to have a middle age woman play a teenage boy? She can’t pull it off! And in the middle of the world go crazy over everything being offensive these days, they are promoting a show where “his” heritage is embarrassing the last thing we need’

Just based on the trailers anyone with a single brain cell can see that a 39 year old woman cannot pass as a 14 year old persian male. I sincerely hope this debacle is cancelled. The sooner, the better. This stinks of the Ghostbusters reboot. Whomever thought this was a good idea should have their head examined.
