A dark comedy following a psychiatrist who inserts himself into the life of one of his patients.
Marty first meets Dr. Ike when he tries therapy to improve his life and get better at boundaries. But over the course of their 30-year relationship, Dr. Ike not only turns Marty's life around, but he takes it over.

The story takes place over thirty years. By episode three the doctor figures out Marty is rich and decides to take over his life. This show is sticking to what really happened. Paul rudd is perfect here. You can see he does care for Marty , but also believes that he should run Marty's life, which he was doing already , and benefit handsomely from it. If he were depicted as totally a monster with no feelings for Marty, it would not be true to the story. The other reviewer knows nothing about the real story.excellent acting from the whole cast too.

Seems like it would be ok if it had a lot more to it. "Inspired by a true story." Was it a super short story?
