Enter Amina Hussein, a nerdy PhD student who is recruited to fill the role. She has never met girls quite like this before, but quickly gets swept up in their joyful energy and punk spirit. Could she be the key to their success?

This is a little gem of a brit show that takes a poke at a lot of cultural, social, political and religious issues from a variety of angles. The actresses are all exceptional, but Taz the manager is my fave, even though we never see more than her eyes (and a lot of smoke); they're not bad musicians/singers either, from what I can tell. You'll never forget their songs, either; how can one, with titles such as Voldemort under my head scarf?
