After badly messing up, a criminal mediator from Chicago is forced to leave his life behind and hide out in a small Australian reef community in Far North Queensland posing as the new church Reverend.

Doing good is not something that comes naturally, but he finds himself with no phone or internet amongst a community filled with people desperate for connection and crying out for leader.

His hiding place has now become his home, but Chicago is hunting him. To stay off their radar he'll have to maintain his cover by appearing to care. But after all that pretending, it may actually become real.
