A thriller following a father and daughter whose lives were changed when she was turned into a vampire.
Mark and his daughter Eleanor had their lives turned upside down 10 years ago when she was turned into a vampire. Locked in at age 12, and maybe forever, Eleanor lives a closed-in life. She only goes out at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the human blood she needs to stay alive.
Inspired by the original hit Swedish novel and film.

FFS. This was a VERY GOOD show. Good story and well acted. FML I'm getting tired of good, well reviewed, highly positive with fans (7.5/100 on imdb), 88% fans on rottentomatoes, and they cancel it. #$%#$%((@#$(@(#%#$&

This is a big mistake by Showtime! Finally a well done Vampire show and they cancel it! Disappointing!

Top quality show finally! Treating vampirism as an illness/virus is not original but it's still genius. The only bad scene in the entire season was the fact that she can't answer her house without being welcome in. I know it's popular and vampire lore, but I don't see the correlation of virus and entering property. Other than that superb!

Finally a quality show about vampires. Fantastic acting by Bichir (father) and nice how they build the suspense without using emo-stuff like all other shows do, just to slow the pace.

Love this! Great characters and incredible acting across the board, slow burn with Homeland like intensity. Can't wait for episode 10!
