A drama about how the Special Air Service (SAS) was formed during World War II.
David Stirling is a young officer who is hospitalized after a training exercise mishap. Speaking of "World Ward II," (as described above), Hogan's Heroes was about the dark days of a WW II prison ward. Though I wouldn't necessarily describe those heroes as the toughest and brightest. Radical yes.
