When State Farm employee Betsy Faria was murdered in 2011, her husband Russ was convicted of the crime despite insisting he didn't do it. After he was eventually exonerated, a chain of events began that would expose a shocking scheme involving Pam Hupp.

They did a good job. It followed the actual murders as originally presented by Dateline. This woman was a nut case and it was a shame that she killed 3 people (including her own mother) to get insurance monies, and tore families apart. So glad she got life without parole -- she deserved the death penalty!

I watched 15 minutes then I quit. Didn't see Duhamel. It's offbeat and a comedy. Supposedly based on a true murder and is narrated a bit by Dateline expert narrator Keith Morrison which could a good touch had I liked it. I didn't like Zellweger's character, especially, but I didn't like anything. Maybe it'll be good for a lot of people, definitely not me. Perhaps like many people liked the Rosanne show but I didn't like anything about it.

When I watched the preview, I didn't even realize Zellweger isn't still Bridget Jones fat. She's wearing a body prosthetic to play Pam. An insult to fat actresses everywhere, they say. Must not be woke.

I haven't seen any recent Zellweger so she looks like someone else in the preview. Josh Duhamel may age but he's always the same. I will definitely be checking this out.
Somebody presumptuous gave it 5 stars already. One could give it five stars at this point I guess since it isn't reality, a cartoon, a game show, a talk show, a medical show, a cooking show, a drag show, or a teenage Seth Rogen show.
