Comedian Retta travels the country to look at properties nominated by owners who think they have the ugliest home. The search is divided into four regions, with four houses from each region selected as finalists based on the following criteria: ugly appearance, bad function and 'surprise.' After the winner is crowned, designer Alison Victoria awards the homeowners with a $150,000 renovation.
