HGTV has announced that Ugliest House in America has been picked up for Seasons 4 and 5. The network has ordered two new six-episode seasons of the unscripted series that will each include five half-hour episodes plus a one-hour season finale.

In the show, comedian Retta travels the country to look at properties nominated by owners who think they have the ugliest home. The search is divided into four regions, with four houses from each region selected as finalists based on the following criteria: ugly appearance, bad function and 'surprise.' After the winner is crowned, designer Alison Victoria awards the homeowners with a $150,000 renovation.

Look for Season 4 of Ugliest House in America later this year, with Season 5 following in 2024.
