A limited drama following a revered advice columnist whose own life is falling apart.
Clare is a woman whose life is falling apart. Her marriage to her husband is on the rocks, her daughter barely speaks to her, and her once-promising writing career is non-existent.
When an old writing friend suggests she take over as the advice columnist Dear Sugar, it doesn't seem to be the right fit. But after reluctantly agreeing, Clare realizes that she might be qualified after all.
As the letter writers force her to revisit pivotal moments in her life - the death of her mother and the fallout with her brother - Clare excavates the beauty, struggle, and humor in her own life.
Based on the best-selling collection by Cheryl Strayed.

Katherine Hahn is welcome on my screens any time. She is a great character actor and has a rare ability to bring heart and soul to comedy, instead of the shtick of series like F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Life is the result of how you live it, the choices you make, and the very, very, very few things that happen TO you.
