A comedy following a legendary talk radio host who lives with his adult son.
Legendary talk radio host and happily divorced Poppa has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son, a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.

Damon & Damon Jr are both hilarious, but this show was just not good. Both of the leading female characters were so AWFUL they made the show UNWATCHABLE!!!! And the children just made it even WORSE!!! Show should have just been father and son.

Sorry folks.....I thought Poppa's House was funny and clean humor. It was not overacted in my opinion. Father and Son had funny movements and were both goofy which I love. Oh well.....

They take GOOD shows off yet they keep renewing senseless garbage like Papa's House

Look up the showbiz phrase “chewing the scenery”. The cast overacts terribly, the female characters are written as shallow, loud, annoying harpies, and the subjects/topics of each episode are shallow and annoying. Either network comedies keep getting worse or the shows from independent producers are so much better that the network shows just look worse in comparison.

The women on this show are annoying and not funny. If they took them off and just let Damon Wayans and his son have the show it would be great
