Glee premiere moves up
Fox has announced that Glee will now premiere on September 9, 2009.

Fox has done some reshuffling of its 2009 Fall schedule, resulting in new premiere dates for a handful of shows. Glee, being one of the affected shows, will now premiere a week earlier than previously scheduled, on September 9, 2009.
The highly anticipated new musical comedy-drama has been receiving a lot of promotion by the network, with ad spots airing on a regular basis since they aired a special preview episode of the show on May 19, 2009.
Look for Glee's premiere on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 9pm ET/PT.
