NBC places Chase on hiatus

The freshman drama will be replaced by episodes of Minute to Win It.

February 3, 2011

It is being reported that NBC has placed its new US Marshal drama "Chase" on hiatus. In its place, the network will air episodes of the game show "Minute to Win It."

Chase's last episode earned a 1.2 rating in the Adults 18-49 demo, and as you can see from our ratings chart for the show, it has been on a downward trend since its debut in September of last year.

Back in December we reported that NBC cut Chase's episode order by four - bringing it down to 18 from its original 22. To date, 13 of those episodes have aired. There is currently no word on when the remaining episodes will air, but this news all but assures the series will not return for a second season. Consider Chase canceled.
