Two and a Half Men Renewed For Season 10

Ashton Kutcher is staying on for the 2012-2013 season.

May 12, 2012

CBS announced today that long-running comedy Two and a Half Men has been renewed for a tenth season. After extended negotiations with Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones, all three will be returning in 2012-2013.

The show will be airing its ninth season finale this Monday, capping its first full season after dealing with the controversial departure of Charlie Sheen in early 2011. The incident caused Season 8 to be abruptly cut short and called into question the future of the series. Ashton Kutcher was brought on to replace Sheen, and ratings-wise, the show continues to be one of the network's highest ranked comedies.

Two and a Half Men joins four other comedies already renewed by CBS for next season. How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, and The Big Bang Theory will all be returning.

This has just gone on for too long now! Not only did my FAVORITE show go to crap after they got rid of Charlie Sheen, but on top of that I'm so sick and tired of all the episode where Kutcher can't put on any freaking clothes! It was one thing when I could watch with my younger siblings and they wouldn't catch on to the sexual humor, but now it's like the writers could care less. They are pushing the envelope of what kind of whores**t they can get aired. Despicable!

I did not miss Mr. Sheen at all, all season long. At the end of the day, the writing has been what's kept this series going, not the acting-- and the writing staff has been more or less the same fellows all the way through.

Saying that, though, I think the show is getting played out. I think they should wrap it all up in the next season and end it on a high note before seasonal rot completely consumes it.

They keep this crap and get rid of interesting shows like Unforgettable! I swear a bunch zoo animals are running these networks lately! Why dont they make a survey on FB and ask what people want to see, because they haven't a clue!

This show has become so gross my husband refuses to watch it--although we watch reruns of the shows with Charlie Sheen. The language is so disgusting, the scenarios so graphic, and the characters so awful--I don't know how this show airs. Berta has become so creepy I can't believe she doesn't have a record as a sex pervert. Alan is such a slimeball--not the fumbling, leach of a brother he used to be. Why he's so broke is beyond me. Judith's alimony should have been cut off long ago. Why any mother would allow her son to be raised in such an environment is beyond me. She is a slimeball also. The mother--why her two sons are't in prison when raised in such a disfunctional household--is so repulsive now.
Walden seems okay, but he needs to build on a wing for Alan since Alan has part ownership in the house.
The wriers must be 16 year olds with raging hormones. The writing is not creative-- just a collection of all the gross scenarios that have ever been thought of.
Why this show is so highly rated is beyond me. I guess everyone just wants to see how far TV can go.
