CBS announced today that NCIS: New Orleans has been renewed for a second season in 2015-2016. The freshman drama, which is the second spin-off in the NCIS franchise, is off to a strong start for the network through the first half of the season. It currently ranks this season's most-watched new series and the #2 overall broadcast drama in viewers with an average of 18.1 million.

I like New Orleans but I think it is lacking in its characters, it could really use another agent. I feel like the show is doing the bare minimum.

I wish I could agree with keeping NCIS N.O. on air, but problem is, I just can't. For some reason this show just doesn't grab me the way NCIS has. I think a lot of it is with the cast. It seems like they're all second choice actors...even Bakula. The stories don't come off as particularly top notch either. Maybe I'm just getting cynical but I just don't care for the N.O. version.
