Canada's CBC announced today that Burden of Truth has been picked up for a fourth season. The good news comes less than two weeks after the drama wrapped its Season 3 run on The CW in the US.
Kristin Kreuk stars in the series as Joanna Hanley, an up-and-coming corporate attorney who returns to her hometown of Millwood, a prairie town with an industrial past, to represent a major client in a case against a group of sick high school girls. But after winning the case handily, Joanna learns that the girls are actually sicker than previously thought, and stays around to look for answers.
While The CW hasn't made any formal announcement about Season 4, it is expected that Burden of Truth will continue to air on the network in the summer of 2021.
