ABC has announced that comedy The Middle has been renewed for the 2011-2012 television season, which will be the show's third. The announcement came as the network gave early renewals to six of its series, including Castle, Cougar Town, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and Modern Family.

hey go to warner bros and tell them how much you want
the 3rd season on dvd--I just emailed them and if we
do it more often then maybe it will be released!
it's a great show much better then the stupid big
bang theory which doesnt deserve any awards or any
attention as far as im concerned.

I love this show. It's well balanced among the characters and when I see the intro and hear the crow, I instantly relax and smile. Thank you

Ugh. Why do people watch this dreck? It's not funny! It's a vastly inferior rip-off of Malcom in the Middle. They just replaced the strong female mother character with a non-male-threatening female stereotype drone, the wacky father with a Republican drone, and the kids with traditional "Life With Father" parental fantasy stereotypes. This show is just a merchandise-shill delivery device to sell to the great unthinking masses who are too lazy to watch another show if it leads into another good TV show.
