CBS unveiled its 2011-2012 schedule today which confirmed that the network is bringing back freshman sitcom Mike and Molly for a second season.
The show - which follows a newly dating overweight couple - had a solid run it its post-Two and a Half Men Monday night time slot. It even received an extra two-episode order in the wake of its lead-in's late-season hiatus.
Over its first 16 episodes, Mike and Molly averaged a 3.6 in the adults 18-49 demographic. Ratings for the show did take a considerable dive once new Two and a Half Men episodes were replaced with repeats - falling to a 2.7 over the remaining stretch of the season.
Season 2 of Mike & Molly will see it retain its same night and time slot, following the newly overhauled Two and a Half Men.

I LOVE LOVE this show - if it isn't broke don't fix it!
Two and a half men was getting way to old with all the drinking and womanizing and Charlie Sheen was way to full of himself - Godd luck to Ashton replacing a has been...and I rarely watch network TV - but I love Mike and Molly!!!

Love, love, love, Mike and Molly. Great chemistry between the two of them. Very funny show. I agree with Shootie..take off How I met your mother and replace it with Mike and Molly.

My entire family loves Mike and Molly. The characters are believable and loveable. We can't stop laughing. I noticed it is not on following Two and a Half Men next week and was concerned. Please bring it back!!!!

Mike and Molly is a down to earth adult comedy. It is different and believable. I have watched (& recorded) every episode I could. I noticed that next Monday there will be a different program in the 9:30 PM time slot on my Channel 7. I love the show. Please tell me you have not decided to cancel the show.

I look forward to every Monday to watch M & M....wish it was on for an hour. Take "How I Met Your Mother" off and let Mike and Molly run for one hour! Great show!!!

I agree w/Heidi...please do not cancel the show. I'm not much of a TV watcher but have viewed the last two shows; the first was by accident and suddenly got hooked. I just watched it with my 15 yr old son and we couldn't stop laughing. I look forward to adding this series to my DVD collection. This is my new favorite modern show. Keep up the GREAT job!! I can't wait for next Monday's show.

I am going to be 75 in Oct. and I LOVE this show. It is so cleverly written; each and every actor is perfect for the part, even Jim.

I am a person who loves to watch Mike and Molly. It is like the average person or couple now these days. I can not wait until the new season to start. Just wish that the show was an hour long instead of the half. Please keep i around.
