CBS announced today that Mike & Molly has been renewed for a fifth season in 2014-2015.
Today's announcement included the renewals of 18 primetime shows for next season. Other comedies receiving pick-ups today include The Millers, 2 Broke Girls, Mom, and Two and a Half Men. Still waiting on news is The Crazy Ones.
Update: Season 5 of Mike & Molly will premiere on Monday, December 8 at 8:30pm.

Mike and Molly met at Overeaters Anonymous. Couldn't they just say that it worked, instead of cancelling a great show?

Love it, up there with Big Bang and Frazier, love ALL the characters, they are ALL funny and talented Actors, sorry to see a great show go away for stupid shows.

Mike & Molly is about the only show left that is not foolish. They do deal with everyday, with no sitcoms similar to Seinfeld anymore network comedies are really not worth the raising of the remote. Its time for more family oriented and reasonable humor of daily issues.

Why would they cancel such a great show? It is one that I look forward to every week . The reruns are nice but waiting on a new episode to see where Melissa Macarthy will push the boundaries is exciting . It is a real couple who struggle with real every day life experiences , like the actual American of today . Having to live with the in-laws to save money - to watching every thing you eat.

Please don't take the reruns off the air. They're great and are still funny many times after. The entire cast is perfect. Its a great show, I need the humor this show gives. I'm in withdrawal!! I was shocked this week when I couldn't find it. I watched it every day on kcal 9. Please put it back on.

Please don't take Mike & Molly off.We love the show,it is the best!!!!The cast ,the writing,one we as a family can watch and enjoy.It is funny,entertaining and not one that are ALL about sex and drugs.( A more subtle referencing to it)One of the best we have had for a long time.this is the kind of family entertainment that needs to be kept on tv
