The New Normal showed a true "modern family" and was one of the best new shows last season. Bebe Wood as Shania was fantastic, and Ellen Barkin shined. This show even made me like NeNe Leakes!

I thought this show was refreshingly witty and made me laugh out loud! Good belly laughs!
Great chemistry between all of the cast! Positive homosexuals family relationships and always a great moral to the story! Very sad to see such great tv stop being created!!!!!

Delighted this show was cancelled. I don't care if you label me a homophobe: I don't want homosexual families on my TV.

I really don't understand NBC. We all are the same and The New Normal showed it. I'm proud to say I love that show and yes i'm straight.

Shame, shame, shame on NBC. I have been watching TV for well over 62 years. This show was Gold Medal, Blue Ribbon, Five Stars, Thumbs Up! But NBC seems to have taken an over doss of medication based on the cancel notices give this season.

I can't believe you can see the new normal I thought it was a fresh take on comedy and family to show the world is new and different types of things over there I was looking forward to seeing the next season when we had the baby all the networks cancelled all these new gay comedies you cancel on my favorite NBC shows

I figured it had been canceled and it is no wonder, when you put long gaps between shows people will miss it when it does air. I look regularly on my Hulu to see if it has posted. Sad to see it off the air,i really enjoyed it. I hope another network picks it up like tbs.

Oh and BTW... just in case you think my comment was "homophobe"... I happen to LOVE Modern Family and the two gay characters on that show are my favorites. I just didn't think "The New Normal" was funny at all.

I can't say that I'm surprised or unhappy about this. I couldn't stomach watching this show. I watched the first 2 episodes just to give it a fair chance. It sucked (and not in a good way).
