The reality series will return with celebrities once again.
May 12, 2013
NBC has renewed The Celebrity Apprentice for another season. The network has opted to keep focus on the celebrity version of the long-running Apprentice franchise, which has been on the air since 2004.
The reality series will enter its 14th season overall, and its 7th featuring celebrities - none of which have been announced yet for the show's next season.

Trump simply pays to have this on the air so he can feel like a big man. This show has been horrible for many, many years. It was okay the first two seasons. Then it just when downhill. Celebrities participating are one step better than those that are dancing on that other horrible show, but not by much. They should retitle this to "Trump and Celebrities last ditch effort at more fame."

Wow Really? The ratings are horrible and NBC cancelled shows that had better ratings this season. Trumps show must be getting bankrolled like Rush Limbaugh's radio show. Here's the dismal numbers, seriously no one is watching this show!
Though Donald Trump’s team insisted to Salon that the show will be returning despite having been left off the NBC schedule, the ratings were down 24 percent from last year, with a mere 5.6 million viewers tuning in to see country singer Trace Adkins claim the top prize. Until today, last year’s finale ratings had been the lowest in “Apprentice†history, at 6.8 million; before that, the 2011 finale ratings had been sharply down, too, coinciding with Trump’s emergence as a leading voice of the “birther†movement.

Awful show! Why promote a man who...files bankruptcy on a regular basis....as some sort of super businessman.

NBC is saying its on "permenant hiatus" as in "Trump is a mega-a**hole and we do not need his drama so we are just going to shelve it forever"......

The ONLY way this show will be good again is to STOP doing the celebrity version and go back to the original apprentice format -- hiring novices in the industry to prove themselves for a job at Trump Corp. While I know lots of charities have benefited, it's gotten very boring and VERY long in the tooth with all these muckity muck celebrities and their diva behavior and temper tantrums. It's no fun to watch anymore.

I agree with Jen, this is a waste of air, life and space.

Well if you spell phonetically, it almost works. Char-a-des kinda sounds like "charities." LOL.

@john nice catch, yeah I'm dumb. Pretty funny though. I wont completely blame autocorrect, i spotted it and forrgot to fix it, but before i knew it the submit button was pushed and I'm a fool. You are correct, boardroom too long and get on with it, 2 hours long is a drag. Also CHARITIES!
There now I look smart, yeah...

@Brandon: WOW I didn't realize charades was so profitable!! LOL- I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say your auto correct got you. I sure hope so. This show is fun to watch the celebrities bicker and make fun of eachother. But the boardroom is SOOOOOOO long and drawn out. Trump loves the sound of his own voice. Tell us who won and get on with it.
