The reality competition will return with a new host.
August 13, 2015
NBC announced today at its TCA summer press tour that The Celebrity Apprentice will be taking a season off and returning in 2016-2017. The network made the move in order to allow time to search for a new host for the reality competition, who will replace the departing Donald Trump.
NBC recently cut ties with Trump due to his presidential run and subsequent controversial remarks. Until now he has hosted every season of The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice since the franchise's debut in 2004.
There is no word who the replacement host might end up being, but NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt did say there were a good number of exciting people who have expressed interest in taking over the duties.

i nominate Sir Michael Sugar. He did the UK version of the show, and he's just as good - if not better - than Trump. Or perhaps Piers Morgan?

With out Trump I have doubts that it will make it. Maybe they can find someone but won't be easy.

I here the douche Obama might need work. No better way to follow up the worst job of being President Tham anyone in 200 years. This clown is way suited to bankrupt a network as well.

I stopped watching this like 10 seasons ago. it got too repetitive and cliche. The ORIGINAL show was great, average people overcoming difficult tasks. The celebrity version is horrid. it's all about who can raise the most money, or who has the wealthiest connections, (or who just wants to extend that D list celebrity longer) not who does a job better. Let this die.

Donald Trump is the reason for watching the Apprentice. I don't think I'll be watching it, if they have a new host. Let it die, already.

The host should be someone who owns a company. How about a female host. Maybe Martha Stewart. No wait she already did that once. too bad Joan rivers passed away. She would have been be great. Basically to be come the hosts apprentice.

I won't be watching it if there is no Donald. Oh well. I loved this show. I'm pretty sure it won't last at all.

You can just cancel this show at this point, never be the same without Trump.

best thing too happen since Donald announced he was running for potus. Gotta say though it was hilarious watching Fox News try and discredit him (like he isn't doing that all by himself). They think it's funny when he is slapping around dems but now that he has turned on them and started knocking them around they get all sensitive and complain.

Wow lots of politics in this discussion... lets just say "A pox on both their houses." As for a liberal (say left wing) media, NBC, CNN ABC, CBS, TIME, NY YORK TIMES, et al, are their own proof. I've been here since Ike was President and cannot recall a time when such a majority of the USA's major media outlets were were so deeply in the left wing tank as they are now. For what it's worth - neither D Trump or H Clinton are presidential. They're out front because Trump is the rallying voice of the right wing base, and Clinton simply because the left has wanted to vote for her (most with no clue as to why) since before her husband was elected.
As for Trump's replacement, I'm sure NBC would be delighted with some idiot like Bill Maher, Rachel Maddow, or maybe even Kiethh OlBerman??? !!! (not only are You fired, YOU'RE THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!)
