I am very sad that Borgia is getting cancelled. It's my favorite show. I found the characters to be likable evil characters, if that makes sense. It's so much higher quality than GOT! The whole set is just so beautifully done and I like this more than the European version, although that's what I will go to now, because the Cesare in the European version is just so crazy. Sad that I just watched my last episode.

This show was BORING, I stuck it out for the entire first season only cuz I felt I had invested so much time into it, thought it would redeem itself in S2 - it didn't, I stopped watching...NONE of the characters were likable :P

@Ginko Neil Jordan portrayed the Borgia family in a bad light because they were truly evil people. It had nothing to do with him being an atheist. Though, given the quality of your post, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you know little about the history of the Borgia family.

I always ended up comparing Borgias and Game of Thrones, realizing its amazing how much more evil and vile the reality is than fantasy. Lucretia woulda been queen of the kingdoms in a heartbeat hahaha. Its so sad Borgias was cancelled, its such an high quality show, good storyline, good characters, good actors and everything about Borgias is just great. Id rather see a cancelled GOT than this, but sadly it isnt what reality offer.

I'm sorry this was cancelled. The show was made so well and the actors have done such a great job. Plus it informs the present by letting us see how corruption has played out in this powerful bit of history. The European version of the Borgias was more historically accurate but part of the fun in watching was seeing the two different interpretations of the facts.

Thank God This show Is Athesist Totally Against Religion. I Didn't approve of this show when it started and I wont now. I'm pretty glad this is canceled!

Good. This show was boring. Looks like Showtime has better things in the pipe for later this year.

I think Dexter just ended but the reasoning for the cancellation of the Borgias is confusing me. The ratings weren't stellar, but they weren't bad either. Had a loyal following and the same ratings got it through season 2, in fact, i read the ratings were BETTER the third season. The cancellation of the Borgias must have something to do with politics rather than us, which makes me hurt more./
