Longmire Renewed For Season 3

The A&E drama will return in 2014.

A&E has renewed Longmire for a third season. Co-creator/executive producer took to Twitter earlier to give fans the good news:

"Thanks to the 5 million plus weekly fans (live+7). Young and older skewing alike! The call just came: SEASON 3 for #Longmire is a GO!"

The crime drama recently wrapped a second season that saw it continue to pull in impressive ratings with each episode.

UPDATE: Season 3 of Longmire premieres on June 2, 2014.

I was hooked on this show with the first episode. All of the characters are perfect in their roles. This how can go forever and I would be happy.

So HAPPY that Longmire has been renewed! It's a great series & awesome that it is filmed in New Mexico.

Its a great show...and should be right after the Glades. I can't believe they didn't keep both!

It was not in its usual Monday slot, so had to consult you to see what happened to it. I am so glad it will be returning in 2014 season. Unfortunately they never tell you that you're watching the final show of the season.

My wife and I both enjoy Longmire and are happy for its return, But the finale of the Glades just leaves us both wondering who shot Jim. We hope some station will pick it up its a great show we watched every week before Longmire.

This is GREAT NEWS!!! Longmire has become one of the best shows ever to appear on television. EXCELLENT NEWS!!! There may be hope for network executives yet.

Hallelujah! This is the best modern western I've ever enjoyed. Robert Taylor is sexy, steely and truly sensational. I am even buying the dvd's... something I never have done before.
