The CW announced today that Arrow has been renewed for a third season. The action drama remains one of the network's strongest primetime series, with its ratings holding steady this season vs. season 1. It also ranks as the network's most-watched series with an average of 3.9 million viewers.
Along with Arrow, The CW also announced early renewals for The Originals, Reign, The Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural.
UPDATE: Season 3 of Arrow will premiere on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 8:00pm.

Recently missed an episode and realized I didn't care.
I've been enduring the show rather than enjoying it.
It's been gloomy. The island, Slade, that creepy mayor, all
gloomy and tedious. Even his secret identity is no longer a hook.

I like Dallas, bring it back it was a good show. so was Longmire.

I really love this show !!! so much action and suspense.glad to know that there will be another season to watch.

My Mom loves this show. I think it's 60 minutes of pure torture. Is it ever daytime on the show? And what's up with the same four locales? The only scenes allowed apparently are the island, good guys headquarters, their house, or some rich people's charity gala. I hope they keep it on for her but it's a big yawnfest for me.

Happy to see a third season. Season 1's shocking similarity to South Park's "The Coon" parody was an odd twist that no doubt put off people. Season 2 is much better, and Summer Glau adds street cred!
