The Robin Williams comedy will not return.
May 10, 2014
CBS has cancelled The Crazy Ones after one season. The Robin Williams comedy got off to a strong start when it premiered last September. Four weeks into its run it ranked as the season's #1 new comedy, causing the network to pick up the full season of the show.
Things, however, got worse during the second half the season. Ratings started to dip, and by its finale fell to less than half of what it pulled in during its early episodes.

Love this show..... Robin Williams is so funny and the rest of the cast is GREAT!!!!! The only show worth watching now that How I Met Your Mother is Gone. Please CBS rethink this and maybe a different time slot would help..........

Keep "The Crazy Ones"!!! Be smart and don't piss away a good, hilarious, refreshing show. I know I've personally recommended it to many people who asked through social media for a reference to a good comedy to start watching weekly. Keep The Crazy Ones coming, be smart...cancel all the incredibly old, stupid, "Aericas over it" reality shows instead. Quit aiding in dumbing down our society by keeping all these awful reality shows on air but cancelling the good shows!

@Bub. Clearly you have never watched any of the EXCELLENT dramatic (and comedic) movies that Robin Williams has starred in. Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Awakenings, The Fisher King, Good Will Hunting, What Dreams May Come, Jumanji, The Birdcage, Mrs. Doubtfire, and many more.

In my opinion, the show was good, but not great. Robin Williams is a comedic genius, but he needs an audience to interact with. If this show had been shot in front of a live audience, I firmly believe the outcome might have been different. He can ad-lib with the best and is so spontaneous. A live audience reaction is priceless and gets the home viewers into what is being performed. Just my opinion.

it was an OK show, he started mentioning his addiction in every episode yadda yadda. Every episode was get a big client, mess up with the client, get the client back and sappy father/daughter story.

I liked this show when I was actually watching it, but that said, I still found myself not looking forward to it. I often would skip in my TIVO menu and move on to other comedies. I did love the cast and hate to see a single year show for any of them - especially Sarah Michelle Gellar who only got one year with Ringer which I really loved!

I loved this show, I think that the cast did a splendid job, they know how to act and how to act comedy. Still, I think that the worst part of the show was the writing. YOu could feel something was off. Pity. Robin Williams in tv could have been historical and histerical.

I think CBS is run by Crazy Ones for cancelling this hilarious show! I loved the cast and all the guest stars they had on each episode. Between this show, Intelligence and Elementary, CBS was looking like my go to network. With 2 out of 3 gone, Fox is looking better and better.

Brilliant comedy with excellent actors. From the guy point of view, no offense to the lovely "Sydney", anything with Amanda Setton in the cast is a winner, not just for her looks, her laugh and her legs, but also her comic timing.
