The comedy series ends after one season.
July 13, 2014
It is being reported that Nickelodeon has cancelled Sam & Cat after one season. The cable network has made the decision not to continue with the series after originally putting it on production hiatus months ago due to conflicts behind the scenes.
The comedy got off to a promising start last year when it was given a supersized order of 40 episodes for its first season. When the series finale airs on July 17, it will have aired 35 of those episodes.

Ariana Grande's voice is super annoying. She's probably the real reason they cancelled it. No one on set could take it anymore!

The actress Ariana Grande should not have been a main character, she was very annoying. To the point where I couldn't even watch the show. It was also too much random humor and not a good plot . Nickelodeon usually makes good funny shows hopefully the hire new actors and make a new Show

Thank goodness! My daughter makes me watch this and it is one of the worst shows out there!

Don't know why that network would cancel one of their highest rated shows, the other shows they have out now shown along with it are bad! Grande's voice is annoying and don't see a big music career for her down the road even though she's doing well now. After years of watching Nickelodeon, I will no longer watch it anymore. They put out good shows from Drake and Josh to iCarly, etc. Sam and Cat was hilarious and well written, as well as the guest star cast was awesome! You would think the network would do what they could to make everyone happy.

I used to watch iCarly and Victorious with my daughter, and those two shows were fun and wholesome. Sam and Cat was just not good at all. Ariana Grande is not good enough of an actress to be a main character. The show was basically a bad remake of iCarly.
