MTV announced today that Finding Carter has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama premiered last month and is off to a strong start, currently ranking as this year's #1 new cable series in the 12-34 demographic.
The network has ordered 12 new episodes for Season 2 of Finding Carter, matching its first-season order. No time frame for the show's return has been announced at this time.

Have found that the second half of season 2 beginning with episode 13 began on 10/6/15. Will there be another 12?

They did change the name. They dropped the 'music television' text from their logo changing it just to MTV because they know it's not about music anymore.

Instead of Carter, how about "finding" some music programming? Or change the name of your dreck-filled awful channel?

Awesome. It's the only reason I have to even turn on MTV. Can barely even stand the commercials for the other stuff they air... and that's with fast forwarding through them.
