I agree with every one..great show..Why is it that all the good shows are cancelled with a high rating???? Doesn't the rating mean any thing??

I already posted and emailed A&E. If everyone emails that network for their stupity for cancelling an excellent show like Longmire, they might wake up. I really hope another network picks this A class show up!

Can not believe you would cancel a show, that I look forward to seeing every Monday night. I live in Idaho, have been to Montana, and can relate to the lifestyle of small town, mountains, and small police force... I also, like the others, feel like boycotting A&E, for cancelling this show. With the great talent of actors, and story line, this is a hit. And, if there is one more reality show, I will never watch A&E, for I'm so tired of them, and am not interested. I want a show with great acting, adventure, suspence and drama, that is totally entertaining, especially when I can't even wait till next weeks show. It will be A&E loss, when another network picks up this awesome show.

Ok, thats it for A and E .l was upset when they cancelled glades, but this is insane. I told my husband if they cancelled Longmire, which I had read might happen, I would not watch A and E anymore. You have lost another viewer.
I really hope someone picks this show up one of my all time favs. Hey TNT, you out there? I could see this working in your lineup.

Morons running A&E! As if there isn't a ton of crap programming on TV and you cancel a show that has a unique plot - Do you have something against Native Americans? This show was more real life than the BS reality shows which only appeal to 30-somethings. Bite me A&E I'm done with you.

Put it on Netflix or Amazon Prime / instant video.

I'm pretty surprised by this. I hope it does get taken somewhere else or at least have a better finale somehow.
I didn't follow the show but I would often be in the room while my parents watched so I know there are definitely worse things out there.

I hadn't watched A&E for a long time because there wasn't anything good until Longmire came along. Now that it has been canceled, I won't bother to ever tune in to the station again. It is obviously run by a bunch of lunatics.

My husband and I are so bummed!!! I think this was a poor move by A&E. Good luck to the cast and staff of Longmire....A lot of fans including us will follow you to your next network!!!!
