There will be no season 4 for the crime drama.

A&E has cancelled Longmire after three seasons on the air. Premiering in 2012, the crime drama went on to become the cable network's most-watched original drama ever, amassing a sizable and loyal fanbase.
While its third-season ratings were down from previous years, it is not clear if that was the reason for the show's cancellation. It is being reported that its production company, Warner Horizon, will be shopping the series to other networks.

Let me guess A&E needs to make room in the schedule for another Duck Dynasty. No reason to watch the channel now

Definitely one of the better shows on TV. Hopefully they'll be successful in shopping it around.

My wife and I are getting a little tired of A&E cancelling shows after only two or three seasons. The seasons are so short that the writers can barely do any character or plot development. Since any show that I like seems to get cancelled so quickly by A&E, I hardly see any reason to watch anything on that network.

I can tell you why A&E is not so smart. they get rid of the good shows and keep the crap. My opinion is if people stop watching the crap, they will get rid of the crap and make more good shows like Longmire.

I can't believe A&E cancelled Longmire, which was a great show with great actors! BUT you put one like Satisfaction on which is so disgusting, it seems A& E only want immoral shows. Taking their best rated show off the air! I also hope another station picks it up!!

I am so upset!This show was amazing.Don't worry A&E,you won't lose many fans over this one.A great show finally comes along and then gets cancelled,and we don't even know why.I do hope another network picks it up.With all the terrible shows out there today,it was great watching an amazing show with an amazing cast!
