Netflix announced today that it has revived Longmire, ordering a fourth season of the crime drama. It has been less than three months since the show's original network, A&E, cancelled the series, resulting in an outcry from its devoted fanbase.
Season 4 of Longmire will consist of 10 new episodes set to premiere in 2015 in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The story will pick up moments after the events of the Season 3 finale, which should be welcome news to fans left hanging after A&E dropped the show.

Thank you Netflix, a company with a brain.

YES. I don't watch Netflix, maybe I should. They should just put on shows online. That's the future anyway. Why fight it.

100x the brains of Hollywood/cable with their wall-to-wall chick shows. In a few years companies like these will provide the shows.

Drop cable and get Netflix. $7.99 a month and you get most of the network shows, plus Netflix own programming.

Nice to see there are still some people with brains in the entertainment industry. WAY TO GO Netflix. A&E dropped the ball and you were there to scoop it up. Keep this show running....my only concern/complaint would be only 10 episodes????

Great Too bad it won't be able to be seen by some of it's fans. Not all of us can afford Netflix + cable

I think, yep, there it is - I've just decided to cut down to basic cable to keep live sports access, and I'm getting netflix. These guys know how to monetize more audiences than just the 18-49 demo (which I'm in) and I'm getting on the bandwagon.
