Netflix announced today that it has revived Longmire, ordering a fourth season of the crime drama. It has been less than three months since the show's original network, A&E, cancelled the series, resulting in an outcry from its devoted fanbase.
Season 4 of Longmire will consist of 10 new episodes set to premiere in 2015 in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The story will pick up moments after the events of the Season 3 finale, which should be welcome news to fans left hanging after A&E dropped the show.

I yelled YES YES and am filled with joy. I hope the ratings go through the roof and the people who canceled the show get fired they are not deserving the job they have. mkl

Greg. It may only be 10 episodes, but you will find they are produced with a much higher quality, making it even better than before. Plus, you don't have to worry about Netflix suddenly cancelling in the middle of a cliff hanger. Since we are paying them, they know they have to listen to their customers or lose them, kind of like HBO and SHO, etc. But, they also have whole series that you might have missed and great movies to stream. I have been with them for many years and have never been disappointed. I pay a little more to rent movies too, so they are my go to all in one entertainment place. I am so glad they got Longmire and I hope they pick up other good shows that died a sudden and premature death.

Awesome but my question is when will Netflix put season 3 on? We didn't find the show until recently.

Wahoo! Netflix has common sense, knows what viewers want: good shows, smart plots, excellent acting.
