The Broadchurch remake will not return.
December 15, 2014
It is being reported that FOX has cancelled Gracepoint after its first season. The mystery drama, which is a remake of the U.K.'s Broadchurch, failed to find an audience on U.S. shores over the course of its 10-episode run.

Fine with me. It was dumb to do a virtual remake of a show that just completed it's 1st season on another network. Whatever happened to originality?

This was a exact copy of the british show. SO many of us had already watched the british version on bbc America. there is a second season coming out. the british version also starred david tenant! and it had a different ending. but it's called broadchurch and it coming to bbc America with a second season. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadchurch

I liked the concept of this show very much but it took way to long to get into the hidden lives of the characters

If the ratings were better they would have come up with a 2nd season

It was no where as good as Broadchurch. I can not wait until Broadchurch runs it's second season.

Tom accidently smacked Danny with an oar, going after his Dad who was trying to get to Danny. But Daddy dearest took the wrap. Ellie knows and told Tom not to say anything.
I really enjoyed this show. Don't know where else it would have gone, the story line is over.

I gave up after two episodes. Could not even compare to the British original. Big mistake trying to remake it over in America.
