It is being reported that USA Network has cancelled Covert Affairs after its fifth season, which concluded last month. The spy drama's falling ratings are said to be the primary reason behind the move, with Season 5 hitting series low ratings and averaging 1.5 million viewers. For comparison, Covert Affair's first season averaged 5 million viewers.

Great show. Really going to miss it. I wish they would consider bringing it back as a mid-season replacement and finish the plots to give it a proper ending.

USA has lost its mind and for all the naysayers we look for excitement and a lot of stuff that blows the mine. I loved this show and the characters. I don't know where these Gods come from but truly its more about looking smart and covering up being very stupid. You've lost another one from your audience.

if it is not a show like scandal or how to get away with murder, then it is cancelled. Very sad to see it go.

I am very disappointed over USA decision to cancel Covert Affairs. It just seems we cancel good shows that tease the mind and end up keeping mind-numbing reality shows that I think are just junk.

I can't believe they cancelled Covert Affairs! What is wrong with USA? I am so disappointed, I don't think I will watch this network any more. It was a quality show with great actors. Good-bye USA.

so disappointed in USA. This show was a huge hit in the beginning and they kept moving the day and time slot which I think killed the ratings. The least you could have done was bring it back for a shortened season to tie up the lose ends. Shame on you USA.

They had an opportunity to make this work and instead, pursued an unlikely storyline with Annie being a super spy. In no realy world would a raw recruit be given the best missions and allowed to go off whenever she so desired. There are thousands of CIA personnel at Langley and thousands more throughout the world so why did Annie get every mission. Is there anyone who doesn't believe that Annie would have been killed a dozen times if the events were real? Also, Kari Matchett is a good actress and they should have allowed the Joan character to develop and become more powerful and left Calder in Columbia.
