The comedy is already in talks to move to Hulu.
May 6, 2015
Reports are out tonight that Fox has cancelled The Mindy Project, opting to end the comedy after three seasons. The news was somewhat expected, seeing as how the show's less-than-stellar ratings had started slipping even lower as of late.
Fans shouldn't be too disappointed just yet though, as there are already strong rumors that talks are underway to move The Mindy Project to streaming service Hulu for another season - and possibly more. Nothing is official yet though, so stay tuned!

About freaking time. This was an annoying show with annoying and whining characters having annoying plot lines. The first four episodes of season 1, yes. But after that, blech! Surprised it lasted longer than it did. As for Hulu picking it up, must be the stupidest decision ever. It is literally throwing good money in the can.

The rating weren't there. Fox doesn't care about how good the show is, there care about ratings. They gave this show three years to find an audience. Other shows, didn't even get that. (Firefly & RBS)

Oh no!! I thought this show was hilarious- I'm disappointed that they have chosen to end it. :( and I'm in Canada so I don't get to have access to Hulu without jumping through hoops to get an American IP address. -_-

Thank God it's over.

Agreed--a smart sitcom. Mindy Kaling is so funny and so talented. She was great in The Office, and she's great on this show. Another disappointment. Another great show, Sirens, got cancelled as well. That show was fantastic. But it's very important to renew the reality shows--like Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor-pure crap!

Not too tough to imagine Hulu being more intelligent than FOX, since FOX keeps killing great shows over the years in favor of dead horses, like American Idol.

Ehh. Sort of stopped being funny after the first half of the second season.

THANK GOD!!!!!!!! Now maybe they'll put something decent in that time slot. That whiney Kalig doesn't belong on TV. Horrible show with quite possibly the most annoying cast in any sitcom.

Love this show it's hilarious. But I guess since the star of the isn't white it gets canceled. I hope Hulu does pick it up.
