The comedy becomes the streaming service's latest original series.
May 15, 2015
Hulu announced today that it has ordered a fourth season of The Mindy Project as part of its original programming slate. The news comes just a week after the comedy was cancelled by Fox after three seasons.
Hulu had already been seen as a likely suitor for the critically-acclaimed comedy due to its popularity among subscribers. Even as the series was being axed, rumors were already swirling that the streaming service would be picking it up for another season.
A supersized order of 26 episodes has been placed for Season 4, with the option for Hulu to order subsequent seasons. No launch date for new episodes has been announced at this time.

Until we all get high speed Internet with unlimited usage streaming of shows will not cut into network or cable channels. Besides almost everyone has access to a TV. Not everyone has access to a computer.

Why must this show go on? Glad it is on Hulu. I don't use Hulu.

Happy this found a new home. I'm not crazy about the season 3 direction but still like the show. Soon we won't need networks. We'll just have Hulu, Netflix, HBO Now (please come to Canada!)... we won't need network TV anymore. They made bad decisions anyways.

Must you suffer because the wife loves it?
Rise up, man! Retake control of that remote!
BTW, I liked the first few episodes when it was weird and wacky. But when it looked like the show was diving into the relationships pool, I bailed.

Well at least it's more easily ignored if it's on Hulu....It's much easier to argue against a Hulu Plus FEE to watch a (horrible) show than it is against free network tv.

Why?? Thought I'd been rid of seeing this unfunny show - now I have to suffer another 26 episodes because the wife loves it.
