The procedural drama continues up north.
June 1, 2015
Canadian network CTV announced today that Motive has been renewed for a fourth season. The police procedural, which also aired its first two seasons on ABC, has been picked up for 13 new episodes as part of the Canadian 2015-2016 television season.
While Motive remains one of Canada's most-watched dramas, ratings were never very strong in the US. ABC has confirmed that they will not be picking up any more seasons of the show.

I really got into Forever, Backstrom, and Battle Creek, this last year. CSI had run it's course a long time ago now CSI Cyber (BLA) Good shows are coming and going because the networks are not promoting them at all. But I understand the reality craze They are cheap to make and that means more money in their pockets. Quality has been replaced with quantity. The dumb people need shows too.

Come on ABC...why is every good show cancelled yet more of this reality "let's prove I'm just an airhead gold-digging fake" bachelor t.v. show Carl running its nine-hundredth season? Are my fellow Americans so unimaginative, so low IQ'd and so unhappy with they're own lives they'd rather live vicariously through someone else's and mindlessly sit and watch scripted, fake, stuck up people live their day to day lies of lives, earning millions for being an undeserving nobody?? Let's stop making these disgusting phonies rich and popular and keep producing actual entertainment, people with a real gift for the theater arts playing great characters in an enjoyable storyline. Stop the umpteenth million season of these annoying "fake ass spoiled housewives of whatever freaking city" who act too good for the real backbone of our country (the working middle class blue collared American), throwing senseless themed $200,000 dinner parties just to have fake back stabbing gossip sessions all while complaining about how their rich stuck up lives are just so hard and how a day in their lives is just as horrible as death because the shoe boutique doesn't have a pair of the latest $3,000 sandals in their size...not like there's real men and women putting their lives on the line daily just hoping to make a community alittle bit of a better and safer place while making less in an entire month than the cost of those sandals. I am sickened by the amount of faux reality tv that keeps coming back season after season while decent entertainment that doesn't make an educated person want to puke keeps getting cancelled. Way to go Canadians! You're proving yourselves much smarter than Americans just by your choice of television entertainment!
