FX announced today that The Strain has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes four episodes in to the drama's sophomore run, which is currently airing new episodes on Sunday nights.
Word is that 13 episodes have been ordered, which matches its Season 1 & 2 counts. Look for Season 3 of The Strain in the summer of 2016.

Great show with the exception of the bratty kid who just doesn't get it. I blame that on poor writing to keep the plot moving. Kid does something stupid, makes trouble for everyone. Kid does something stupid, gets a main character killed. Knock off this little punk and let the adults duke it out.

Great modern day Vampire story. Excellent twist on the way it's being contracted. The old Nazi Vampire hunter is a fantastic character. Once again the visual affects are stunning and believable to the story. Glad it will be back.

well... now that they've essentially done away with [spoiler], it is better. Previously I just laughed every time they showed that [spoiler] on screen. :)

I'm glad this is renewed. Like others have said, the vampires are nasty looking, but the show is really good. Well done, FX.

I love me some vampire and supernatural shiz but the vampires on this show look kinda gross :( happy it got renewed though because looks like everyone is putting good effort into making it

Great news, awesome show, just keeps getting better. Ragnarok poo is the reality shows that I assume you love to watch....Enjoy.
