No Season 2 for the USA drama.
August 28, 2015
It is being reported that USA has cancelled freshman series Complications. The dramatic thriller, which starred Jason O'Mara, premiered in June and ran for 10 episodes through to its finale earlier this month. While it established a loyal fan base during the course of the season, its overall viewership numbers were ultimately not strong enough to compel the network to continue with the show.

Can't believe I'm the first to say this...the show had too many complications so it was cancelled. :) *bada bing bada boom*

This far too stupid and not shocking from USA who cancels more shows then anyone else.

Too bad. I enjoyed the show; however, I think that Jason O'Mara's problem (and one that can't be fixed) is that he looks too much like Mel Gibson. Mel's been embroiled in too much controversial stuff for Jason to get a fair shake.

I guess it's kind of complicated to try and meld the two most annoying genres every network pumps out every season. Copy/legal shows and medical shows.... too bad no television producer can think of ANY other professions to focus on. I suppose next is a copy/legal + cooking reality show.

I really like Jason O'Mara and watched every episode of this show, but unfortunately it was fatally flawed from the pilot. Trying to make a successful ER doctor a "vigilante of sorts" and expecting him to maintain his daytime job as said ER doctor is completely unrealistic. O'mara needs to get with a different network that has some great writers who can utilize his skills. He's still young enough to pull off a decent action hero imo.

Man he is jinxed life on Mars, terra nova, Vegas , and now complications all great all cancelled in their first season. Complications is the one I liked least which is why I thought it might actually make it but as usual they cancelled his show.

I created to say this Jason O'mara is a Jinx. I like him as an actor and I like all his shows. But Whenever I see him the cast. I know the show is only going to last one season. Next time I see he is in something I'm going to wait till there is a season two confirmation to even start watching it.

I said this when Sirens got canceled, but it is worth repeating. USA is having a lot of trouble getting a good new show to take over for such shows as Monk, Psych and Burn Notice, that maybe it is time to offer Tony Shalhoub whatever amount of money he wants to get in two more seasons of Monk. Get the bad taste of the final episode out of everyone's mouth, and make it up to us for the two post-series Monk movies they already passed on. Enough time has passed that bringing back Monk would be fresh again and would definitely pull in solid numbers as it already has a loyal fan base. Idea for episode one of season 9. Dale the Whale escapes from prison.... but how? (spoiler, the magician "The Great Torini" used his "powers" to sneak him out).

That's really a shame. I very much enjoyed this show! Love Jason O'Mara. Just finished watching Life on Mars on Netflix and was glad to see him in this series. Maybe Netflix will pick it up like they did with The Killing and Arrested Development. Who knows?? It could happen.
