The new comedy gets the back-nine.

ABC has handed out a full season to Dr. Ken, making it this fall's first new comedy to earn the back-nine episodes. The pickup comes after a strong start for the show on Friday nights in the time slot following Last Man Standing, where it has become one of the top-performing freshman comedies of the 2015-2016 season.
Today's pickup gives Dr. Ken a total of 22 episodes for the season.

Watched a second episode. Still not funny, though the laugh-track audience loved it.

Dr Ken is ok i didn't think it would last so this is surprising. But to all who bring up other shows you should be ashamed of yourselves. This show shouldn't be wished cancelled because your show was. Your idea is try and get someone else's show cancelled cause yours couldn't hold good ratings. Karma will take more from you. Stop sending out negativity

almost human was better then limitless, minority report, and blindspot. These networks are warped. Ken is ok

I was turned off from this show before it even aired. the first ad for it featured dr. ken peering between a woman's spread legs while examining her. It was shockingly rude, crude and in extremely bad taste, and was not seen again. that was all I needed of dr. ken.

The pilot was pretty bad but we gave it one more shot and the second episode was better. Hope it continues to improve since there's some potential there for it to be a good show.

Ok, I was actually surprised it was pretty funny.

Gurnett, I guess you and your wife are getting "rich" off those bets, since they cancel shows left and right these days. At least you two are having fun while others are disappointed again and again. I can't stand this industry for other reasons, but every so often they make something I actually want to see and I can't get too excited about, because new shows seem to be doomed from the start.
