Fox orders more episodes of the new comedy.

Fox announced today that The Grinder has been picked up for a full season. The freshman comedy, which stars Rob Lowe and Fred Savage, has been well-received by critics while garnering modest ratings through its first four episodes.
Today's pickup gives The Grinder the 'back-nine' episodes needed to reach 22 - the typical number considered to be a full season. The show airs Friday nights at 8:30pm behind fellow newcomer Grandfathered, which has yet to receive a full season order.

The problem with TV today is posters like GOEZE who are happy that a show like baby daddy got picked up for another season but he/she doesn't understand The Grinder. This is the dumbing down of America folks and you will keep getting crap shows as long as people like GOEZE who want to watch mindless crap become the majority of people watching TV. Thank you USA education system.

I had high expectations for this and was very disappointed. I suffered through the first episode and found the second unwatchable.

I actually thought this show has no chance before watching it but I was definitely wrong. Hilarious and both actors are fantastic in it. Every time I see its on I say out loud "the grinderrrr"

I actually like this. Rob Lowe does surprisingly well at that deadpan pseudo straight man humor. And the wonder years guy... good to finally see him doing something. Hate the kids though :) Fox just needs to cancel Grandfathered now.. That show is horrible and Josh Peck shouldn't be an actor.

WOW, Fox must be desperate. Grandfathered will probably get a full season also, it's equally bad.
