No Season 2 for the action drama.
December 15, 2015
TNT has cancelled Agent X after just one season. The freshman action drama, which starred Sharon Stone as the Vice President, has been plagued by low ratings since its premiere last month. Through seven episodes it has averaged roughly 1 million viewers.
Agent X has three episodes remaining which will air as planned, with an episode this coming Sunday followed by two back-to-back episodes on December 27 to conclude the series.

Hmmm a secret agent that works only for the VP... Two interesting notes - (1) This would mean tat somebody in the country actually has to do what the V.P. says & (2) That would double the number of completely redundant people in the V.P.'s office.
@ BMW Man: I get it, But it causes me to wonder how could Sharon keep any secrets since she revealed them all to us during Basic Instinct?

I miss Sharon Stone in her hot tight dresses as VP! I get a kick out of seeing her show off her body in every episode! I guess I one of the million viewers. This show should of been one of the over the air networks. This show is much better then many of the current running on ABC, CW, FOX, ABC and CBS channels. I guessing since Sharon Stone was the producer and acted in Agent X; all of the over the air networks pass on it!

There are so many shows on tv that are lacking in so many areas & yet they are still on. I don't know what is going on with how it's being determined what gets cancelled & what doesn't? In my opinion However its being done is just not working It was a good show I really looked forward to it!I wish the network would reconsider or that another network will pick it up? So many good shows like this one are being axed way tooo soon!!

I actually liked the show, I like John's character. I don't mind Sharon Stone, anyways, she's not the main character.

The show started to lose it when the conspiracy started. It went from zero to tinfoil hat time in rapid time. Really took from the show which worked when it was just carrying out secret missions.

Loved the show, love Sharon Stone...she's a very good actor and has great stage presence. Sorry to see it go. I hope it gets picked up elsewhere.

Not surprised this show was cancelled. I started watching it when it first came out and it was pretty bad. The acting, writing, and casting (including stone) was bad. I gave up on this show after episode 3.

I enjoyed watching this show and am sorry to see it go. I just found it hard to follow the inside conspiracy plot line. I liked it better when there was a new crisis every week.

Too everybody that says it will be replaced by "reality" programs I say: Grow up. In this day and age a show has to be good to survive the hundreds (if not thousands) of other options people have. Networks will not take off money making shows to put on "reality" tv. What you are really saying is... "this is probably being replaced by a show that people will spend time watching because this was not one that was worth the time the network had."
