Fox announced today that hit series Empire has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore drama has continued its strong ratings trend as broadcast TV's top series, and recently received recognition at this year's Golden Globe Awards. The show was nominated in the Best Drama category, though it ultimately lost to Mr. Robot. Star Taraji P. Henson did take home a Golden Globe for best actress in a drama.
Look for Season 3 of Empire this fall.
