I agree there is a general malaise about the show. At first, I hated it and especially despise the character of the French wife. Let's hope she's off the show for good. But then I continued to watch because I just live Louie Anderson!!! It's a weird show with an independent feel to it. I'm very surprised this got renewed so I'll continue to watch it.

I've only watched the first episode, but that was draining.
I hate this show, not simply because its bad, but because its been renewed despite being bad, when other shows (with personal bias), have been cancelled despite being better.
I can't imagine this has a big audience, and if it does, I dislike who these people are. Is it a cost benefit winner - I don't know. I just know this program is garbage and doesn't deserve a full season, let alone a renewal.

This seems to be written like a movie divided into several, weekly, 21 minute pieces. It's difficult to maintain interest on a weekly basis, at least for me. It has it's moments of absurdity that are funny (Louie Anderson as his mom is hilarious). I just can't help but feel this would be great as a 2 hour, single-sitting, viewing. It's the weekly breakup that makes it less interesting. The general malaise the show puts across works well for the underlying humor... but it's rare that I am eager to tune into a show that is just so low key.

I going to hang in there with this show,it is not great, but I think it will get better as it goes. Louie Anderson is hilarious,my wife and I can't stop doing his voice and laughing every time we go to Costco now. I mean where else can you get a large hot dog and soda for a dollar fifty.

I love Zach Galifianakis & Louie Anderson.... I like a lot of "underground" type comedies -- Tim & Eric and such... but after watching the 4th show, it came out of my DVR. It just didn't seem to go anywhere. I liked the "insurance" adjuster too. Felt kinda 'independent-film-ish.' SPOILER: When he blew all that money from his scooter settlement on the 4k TV for his spoiled, green-card French wife, I just had it. I thought there was potential -- and even tried to look past ALL of the Costco / Kirtland Signature and Arby's advertising... but I just don't see this show going anywhere. Sorry Zach and Louie. Love you guys but hope to see you in something better...soon. Some good laughs, but not enough to keep me watching each week.
