No Season 5 for the cable comedy.

FX has announced that Baskets will be ending after its current fourth season. The news comes with four episodes left in its current run, with the upcoming August 22 airing now acting as its series finale.
Co-created by and starring Zach Galifianakis, Baskets follows a middle-aged man with dreams of becoming a professional clown, though real life has always seemed to get in the way. The show garnered generally favorable reviews in each of its seasons, though recent ratings are not what they were earlier in its run.

The show became insanely boring and lame by the end. All this carpet emergency bs and romantic crap with the tranny and black man. In first seasons I was expecting a super funny spectacular moment which never came, then it basically became a rubbish drama of the lke of Neighbours or eastenders

Very, very sad to see Baskets end! Funny, heartwarming, thought provoking, perfect cast. Louie Anderson stole the show, but every actor was wonderful.

They can't cancel this show without explaining why Martha's arm is still in a cast. Trinity got pregnant and had a baby already. Someone check on Martha's health plan, I don't think Costco is getting her the best coverage...or at least not as good as Arby's.

I've enjoyed the show but it does seem to have gotten less funny over the years. The funniest parts by far are when Dale is on the screen.

I love this show. Even the re-runs. Louie, Zach, Martha, Ken... make up an awesome cast. Funny, heartwarming, smart, witty and relatable. I’m saddened to be reading this first thing on a Saturday morning. Not a good way to start the weekend folks. Not good. Not good at all.

A story about a mom trying to keep it together, and do for everyone too. So sad it is leaving. I will miss it.

I LOVE this show. FX will not find something as good to replace it. Hell FX is already hard to find. Now I have no real reason to find their channel.
